 Makoto Kurosaki is a talented knife sharpener who has recently created the brand STYLE-K to show case his skills. He was awarded 伝統工芸士, "Traditional Craftsman" in 2020. He trained, with his brother Yu Kurosaki, in Takafu Knife Village under Hiroshi Kato. 

Petty knife ぺティナイフThe petty knife, named after the French ‘Petit’, is an all-round utility knife. It is generally a little larger than most western paring knives but smaller than a Gyuto. It can be used in the hand to peel or on a chopping board for fine work. A must have in any kitchen.
